Meet Miller.
After being diagnosed with achondroplasia as a baby, his family sought out the latest research. Miller is an active teenager who loves riding tractors, fishing and exploring the great outdoors.
Q: Tell us a little bit about you and your family.
I am 13 years old, and I live with mom, dad, and our golden retriever. My half brother is 25 years old and I’m an uncle now! I live in St. Louis and like to hang out in the country, ride tractors and rangers, fish, and I just started to deer hunt and got my first deer. I also like video games!

I’m just like everyone else, just shorter stature!
Q: How do you like to stay involved in the achondroplasia or rare disease communities?
I enjoy being active in the Little People of America gatherings and Regionals, and hopefully Nationals again, to see my friends and meet more people.
Q: What makes you as Miller “rare”?
I like to describe myself as creative and an inventor.
Q: What is your favorite book and why?
I love the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series!

Keep your common sense and know your surroundings.

My favorite song is “Boys Round Here” by Blake Shelton.

I look forward to working on improving my golfing game!
